House I Would Like to Live In
The house I would like to actually live in, live for a long time and enjoy it should be something like this:
Located in countryside, on the edge of a small town, preferably as far from other houses as it is possible and reasonable; it must stand on a bank of a small river. It should be two-storied and built of red and white brick, with its front wall covered in deep-green ivy. Of course, it has to be surrounded with a small garden which, among other things, would have a trellis for grapevines.
The insides should meet the newcomer with a lot of light falling from large windows on walls and reflecting from glaze on the floor. Each room would have its own color of both walls and the glaze, so that they match each other perfectly, accompanied with other decorations, such as curtains. Lighting is, of course, very important, as well as correct choice of colors so that they don’t look out of place in the vicinity of one another.
The stairs inside consist of two flights and are made of genuine oak that is more lasting than any kind of brick or metal. These stairs is one of the things I am particularly fond of, as I have always wanted to live in a house with wooden stairs.
