School education is traditionally considered to be the necessary prerequisite of the successful socialization of a personality. Going to school children not only acquire knowledge about the surrounding world, but also go through a preparation stage for successful adaptation to life in the modern world. It helps children learn how to organize their day, communicate with peers, evaluate and assess themselves and others and form a complex system of ties with the surrounding world.
However, all the above mentioned points can be achieved without going to school. Attending any other type of children or teenage group activity on a regular basis can provide equally beneficial results. Sport groups, ballet classes, a choir or an art group will help a child develop basic communication skills and organization techniques. Besides, they will also provide them with important skills and develop them culturally, physically and spiritually.
At the same time, if combined with home schooling, they can provide a good alternative to school education. Learning at home alone or in a group of a few other students under the supervision of a highly professional teacher who is focused entirely on the material prepared for these very children can be much more effective.
