“Who runs the world? Girls!” A phrase iconically celebrated by the queen of the “beehive” herself, Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter. However, with every form of expression comes multiple forms of interpretation. While I perceived the phrase to be a lyrical proclamation towards celebrating the undermined strength that comes with being a female, many men viewed it as an exclamation of female superiority, masculine demonization, total criticism and complete dethronement of male authority, as well as an underlying threat to their societal standards. These are some of the many common misconceptions that come with feminist lyrics, but a segway to the modern day view of feminism principles and goals. What many fail to recognize, however, is that this perception – as well as those who abide by these beliefs – reflects the ideals of misandry and not feminism.
When I think about Donald Trump, I think about Dr. Sandra Lee. Her TLC show, Dr. Pimple Popper, features nauseatingly graphic footage of appointments and operations wherein she treats patients who come in with, as TLC puts it, “blackheads so big and cysts so goopy, they have to be seen to be believed.” The show’s 2018 holiday special, entitled “The 12 Pops of Christmas,” pulled in 1.5 million viewers, outperforming the Lakers game, Jersey Shore, and CNN.1 That is to say, people love this show. There’s something cathartic about the sweet release of all that nasty fluid. It’s not the nastiness that we enjoy but the removal of it. This is the connection I make between the show and our current president’s career in public office: he [unintentionally] surfaces some of the dirt America likes to keep under the rug.

Sound the alarms! The millennials are coming! I’ve seen too many articles about the various institutions and industries being annihilated by my generation.1 Mashable’s list2 of 70 things millennials have allegedly killed in USA ranges from crude “breastaurants” like Hooters3 to golf4 to homeownership.5 They hold us responsible for so much of the latest social, economic, and political disruption that it has become something of a decent joke among writers. The Onion facetiously reported that American millennials are disillusioned with “walking the earth altogether,” instead exploring “more viable alternatives.”6 Canada’s The Beaverton took the joke a step further: “Millennials are killing the Millennial-Killing industry,” apparently, by refusing to participate in the current leisure hunting of people by age 22-37.7

Essay about Love: Love Is All You Need
Love is definitely one of the most powerful feelings that people can ever experience in their lives. Although different people perceive what is love differently, it has been inspiring for everybody, giving hope and the sense of life for people for thousands of years, and its role has never been diminished. Apart from this very essay about love, dozens of thousands of literary works have been written in its honor, and it is still a source of inspiration for people of all ages and backgrounds. Thus, it is not surprising for us to hear the words “Love is all you need”.
Life Is a Journey Essay
All people have the same journey to take – their life. As well as in the other journeys, there may be some inconveniences, disappointments and joys, and a lot depends on how we plan this particular journey and what attitude we develop towards it. I will try to show my vision of the best way to go through this path with as much joy as possible and with minimum of harm.
There are so many people living on this planet, and all of them have their own views on what life means to them. There are optimists who choose to see the bright side of this world. There are pessimists who might enjoy constant grumbling as to their difficult and unfair fate. Every person decides for themselves. I want to examine differences in how people perceive our world and what both groups miss out because of the way of thinking they select.
Even with the hectic schedules that people have today, it is still customary for families to find time to talk about a variety of different topics. Depending on the events within the family, as well as around the world, these chats can range from talking about work and school to politics. And while the subjects discussed may change, the feeling derived from spending this time together will be everlasting. There are several subjects that are talked about within my family that I especially enjoy. These subjects are interesting items in news, religion and travel.
Determination is an integral part of my character, which helps me in reaching goals, as each and every time I take up something new, I am determined in my success. This very trait of my character identifies me as a personality, and I am more than convinced that I would not have achieved everything I have now without it. That’s what my Goals in life essay is going to be about.
My Personal Achievements
Things that happen to us in the beginning of our lives, during the childhood, very often have a great impact on our entire existence in this world. And the best thing that can happen to a man in his early years is some kind of revelation that would show him what he is supposed to do in his life. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that one of the most important aspects of our lives is our work, something to which we dedicate most of our time – and to choose the right option from the very beginning is a very good fortune. In my opinion, one of the most difficult steps in every beginning is to actually choose what to do, and choose it correctly.
As early as I could remember myself, my memories have been colored with melancholy. Yes, I admit it: I am a person who loves being sad. As a child, I loved sad fairy tales, as a teenager I loved sad novels and films, which made my parents worry a lot. I realized that I did not meet their expectations: in their ideal world a happy person must irradiate joy all the time. In my view, this state of constant life enjoyment looked slightly idiotic. And I kept asking myself if sadness is really so bad.
